The Imagined Village will be doing our last gig for 2008 as part of the Molten Festival, Broadway Theatre, Barking, October 26th. It's not a huge venue with a capacity of 350, so book now on line if you want to catch us before we retire to our respective studios to start work on our next album. We will of course be updating this Myspace site with new material once it starts flowing out the village pump, but till the pump action starts this is your last chance to see us this year. In 2009 we hope to be back doing the festivals over the summer (assuming we have a summer!). For Barking we have a smaller band, Billy Bragg is in the states so he will be appearing via satellite link up, Sheila Chandra can't make it and we are waiting to here from the Young Coppers, we are just not sure the stage is big enough for all of us! But it promises to be a great gig and we're all really up for it after our amazing run of summer shows and the great coverage we got on BBC4 from the Cambridge Folk Festival. It'd be great to have our fan base at the gig as a way of playing out the summer. We are sharing the bill with the London Gypsy Orchestra and comedian Arthur Smith.

See you at the gig, or maybe in a field in glorious England some time next year,

Lots of love and thank you all for the support you've given us in 2008!
